Dandy Villas are pleased to present their new accommodation “Dandy Villas Vintage Cottage House – Pelion”.

In a small beautiful traditional settlement, 3 km from Argalasti to the famous “Potistika” beach, is our vintage cottage house.

An authentic, picturesque, Peliorite village house next to the village’s central square – where children, parents, friends, neighbors gather every summer and celebrate together around a large table at first days  of August, on the day of the “Transfiguration of the Savior”.

Entering the house at the left side you will find a cute kitchen. In other words, a colorful, bright kitchen that gives you the impression that you will have a genuine Pelionian time here.

At the right side, a lilac fireplace… and two single beds – sofas where you can snuggle in winter – summer. Next to the tiled kitchen there is a white, private bathroom.

Going up from the traditional staircase from both sides there are  bedrooms: the master and one more  with two single beds.

The house has a big balcony with a view of the mountain and the surrounding stone houses.

So if you want to live like a local, there is no better choice!

Ideal house for long stays, for large families, groups of friends or even for couples who want to discover the magic of nature, hiking in the wonderful surrounding landscapes, in the wineries of the area, in the taverns with the spicy seafood dishes accompanied by the famous local drink “ tsipouro” .

Seas wild and calm, coasts, deserted and not, mountains wild, high and low, equestrian group, many options for wine tasting, tasting, traditional foods and sweets worth trying.

Each suggestion a different taste experience.

The whole house exudes a touch of unpolished authenticity with a cheerful character as if to say: “We live to be happy”.

Kallithea was inhabited from the period of the Turkish occupation where it had the name “Bir” which in Greek means “One”. This was the house of the commander Turks Aga of the area where it was located on the hill of the settlement and because of its very good position and strategic position it later took the name of Kallithea. Around them, the rest of the houses of the settlement were built, which are all stone, maintaining the Pelion architecture to this day, most of which have a life of more than 2 centuries.

Among the larger villages of southern Pelion, Argalasti is a lively capital village that attracts many visitors thanks to its architectural interest, its strong commercial activity and its strategic position as an access point to some of Pelion’s most spectacular beaches. It can easily be your starting point to discover the small wineries of the area, beaches with crystal clear waters and picturesque bays, which all together contribute to the unique character of this side of the mountain.
