Dandy Villas introduces you to their new accommodation in Nymfaio, Florina, the “Snow Queen”.
We named it “Snow Queen” because we love fairies, strong stories, nature, nobility, fantasy, white snow.
In our premises, in this brand new building, we host up to 6 people + 2 children.
Let’s start the virtual tour: Entering the main entrance of the house on the right side, you will see the living room and the dining room. In front of you, you will find a fully equipped kitchen. In the same area, there is the fireplace where in the winter months you can drink a hot chocolate or your tea, enjoying the all-white snowy landscape.
Going up to the upper floor through an internal staircase, on the left side there is a bedroom with a double bed (1.40 x 2.00 cm).
In the second bedroom of the house, there is a bunk bed (1.40 x 2.00 cm) where 2 young children can sleep on the upper side and a sofa bed (1.40 x 1.90 cm) available for 2 people.
On this floor you can find one of the two bathrooms in the house, which is equipped with a shower.
Going down from the living room on the lower floor there is a small sauna and the third bedroom of the house with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 cm).
On this floor there is also a bathroom with a shower.
Finally, in the yard of the house there is garden furniture that will give our guests another option to enjoy the quietness of the landscape.
There is free street parking outside the accommodation and the village’s public car park is just a 2-minute walk away. In all areas of the house we have Wi-Fi so you can surf the internet whenever you need it.
Enjoy your stay,
Rest and relax – like at home!
The “Snow Queen” is located in the famous traditional settlement of Nymfaio, in Florina.
Nymfaio – originally called Niveasta (meaning nymph in Vlach) – experienced particular economic growth from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, when it became known as the “stone jewel of Macedonia”.
The village was first inhabited in 1385 and since then it has held an important place in the history of Florina. Perhaps the most beautiful stone village of the country, Nymfaio stands out for its stately mansions.
There is so much beauty here that the village almost looks like a movie set. It is no coincidence that it is among the 10 most beautiful villages in Europe, according to UNESCO. The well-preserved Vlach mansions, the unique cobbled streets that run through the entire village, as well as the churches and squares, make up a unique landscape. In winter, when the snow settles on the galvanized sheet metal roofs that help it slide more easily, the village looks inconceivably scenic. The trails in the beech forest surrounding the village are also memorable.
The area is also ideal for excursions to the Arcturos bear sanctuary – a non-governmental, non-profit environmental organization founded in 1992 to protect wildlife and the natural environment. There is, therefore, a brown bear sanctuary in the village, and a wolf sanctuary a short distance away, in the village of Agrapidia.
Dandy Villas ΄΄Snow Queen’’ welcomes you to Nymfaio, in Florina.
The location is ideal for those who don’t like to travel by car as it is only 200 meters from the village square, from the taverns, the cafes, the road to Arcturos and is located right behind the Nice School.
